No one would ride Griffon with me last time so I didn’t try it. But I will have to next time. Chris and I both love Appollo’s Chariot although I still have a very special place in my heart for Loch Ness. I don’t know why, but I just love old Nessie.
Maybe one of these times we can coordinate when our families go and you and Mack can take me on coasters. I’m sure Cat would go if Mack does. Tate can entertain Aidan and Chris can entertain Byron and Chris’ buddy Reid. Chris misses Reid.

Well, I do love Apollo’s Chariot. But we both think the Griffon is the best, just because it is so unique. Especially love riding in the front row. Do you agree?

Update: Yesterday, I sent Aidan to his room for a time out. Later, I noticed that, over top of the word “Mack” on the sign, he had written “Jil” in Sharpie.

You should call and compare notes with my mom on the subject of “A Mother’s Descent Into Un-Necessary-ness In The Eyes Of Her Daughters”. It might make you feel better about the twists, turns, and drops to come on the rollercoaster of parenthood. In the meantime, don’t feel too bad, Cat and Tate will need you more than you think. Speaking as a teenage daughter, a mom is the one constant thing in a girl’s life, the one thing that endures no matter what. When you get hurt, who sticks a Band-Aid on you and tells you to shake it off? Who makes treats for you just because they love you? When you screw up, who comes in, comforts you, and helps you fix it? The answer to all of these is “Mom”. They’re going to need you and your kisses as long as you live and even afterwards.
