I ran into a friend of mine at the store yesterday and she shared a similar story. She is 42 (and looks great) and she was with her two children (ages 6 and 9ish) at the local pool. A cute little girl swam up and asked her what the names were of the children with her. "That's Lauren and that's Hugh," she replied smiling. "Oh, are they your grandkids?" the little girl asked? My friend stopped smiling.
I was "ma'am"ed three times on vacation. Let the record reflect that despite all evidence to the contrary, I am not yet 40.

Our favorite is when Donna pays with her credit card and they bring the receipt to be signed and put it next to me. That does cost them money.

Oh, I admit it.... I probably would have tipped him, too. But don't these "kids" get it at all?
