Tate and I were cuddled up, me with my laptop and her with paper and a pen.
I glanced over at her toiling away with a very serious expression on her face and asked what she was doing. “I am working like you Mom,” she said.
“You are? What kind of job do you have?”
“I am a lawyer. But not like you. I am a different kind of lawyer.”
“Oh yeah? What kind of lawyer are you?”
“I am the kind of lawyer that actually helps people.”
I’m enjoying the posts, Tanya!
